Calculating the length of fabric
When choosing the length of fabric, decide how you are going to close the ends of the frame. If the width of the frame is less than twice the height of the frame then the method illustrated on the right requires less fabric.
For a frame 1.2m high x 1m wide x 3m long see options below.
Allow an extra 10cm minimum for fixing.
Option 1. Fabric installed from the sides of the frame to the middle as shown on the right.
3m + 0.6m + 0.6m = 4.2m of fabric
Option 2. Fabric installed from the top of the frame to the ground. 3m + 1.3m + 1.3m = 5.6m of fabric
